Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also called Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American singer, actress, impersonator, radio host and comic. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman was also the daughter to comedians Raul Vale as well as Angelica Maria La Novia De Mexico. She is credited with launching La Balada Ranchera, a popular genre of music that hit the charts in 1973. It also led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist who sold two millions of records in the United States. She also fell in love with Venezuelan comedian and singer Raul Vale whom she married in April 1975. This was the first marriage to be telecast in Mexico.
